Dodge Tomahawk 4 Years, 1 Month ago
A few years ago when I used to build the Dodge booth for the NY International Auto Show they brought in a concept vehicle called the Tomahawk. Basically a Viper engine on a motorcycle frame (although it did have two front wheels for steering). Hypothetically, it was supposed to go over 400 mph. I had a chance to sit on it and watch as someone actually started it (sounded like a funny car) and drove it out of the convention center for a Today Show appearance. Anyone ever remember this thing?

Yup. The History Channel shows it every now and again when it covers the history of motorcycles. Saw it take off. Holy cow. They also showed a jet motorcycle Jay Leno owns. With both, the announcer asked, "But is it a motorcycle?" You got to see the Tomahawk up close, eh? I'm jealous.

That's the Dark Knight to you, sir.

And to PapaTom: Not only did I get to see it up close ... I got to actually sit on it and had to mount it up about six feet high on a Ram's horn display (with an assist of a forklift and tow straps of course).

Thanx for the link, Doc.
