Nice looking colors Aaron...
She's going to love it!{br]Are you changing out the leather on the seats and ad some fringe too? A nice light buckskin color (or even white lether...) would set the purple off to perfection!
Either way... you're going to have a great riding partner!

RoadstarB,

"So I found a MTC Voyager kit and traded her Savage for a Suzuki S83 Boulevard that now sports the Voyager kit"

Is this a trike kit?? We've seen several trikes and my wife just loves them. That's what she'd like me to do with the Vulcan, but so far I've resisted...

As for riding formations, I'd rather have her in front of me until she's got a lot more miles and experience under her belt. One day last fall while she was riding around the subdivision on the Rebel I jumped on the Vulcan and followed her. She said she liked that; said she felt safer knowing I was behind her and no one could tailgate her.

In The Wind,
Aaron

Hey, that's the riding formation I tried to explain to my wife, plus that will let her set the riding speed to what she is comfortable with and not feel like she is trying to keep up.......Yes, the Voyager kit is a trike kit. It can be agrivating setting up and making sure everything is lined up, but it cost alot less than having one truly triked out. here is the website for the kit. www.mtcvoyager.com I found several on e-bay that was going in the $2,000 range. I lucked up on mine and met a fella at a bike rally who said he had one he just took off a HD Sportster that was less than a year old. He told me if I was to ride to Atlanta to pick it up he would sell it for $1,500, so the next week I got in my truck and drove to Atlanta. These kits brand new run around $4,100. There is only 4 size kits produced, the hardware is the only thing specific to each bike to mount. My wifes kit was on a HD Sportster, then I first installed it on her 650 Savage for a short period, then reordered the hardware for the S83 and currently she has been riding it for a year this month. She has put over 6,000 miles on it.....I do hope to start building her a true trike as soon as my Roadstar is paid for in the next year and a half.

When I start falling over at stop lights I think I pick one up. Falling over in gas stations doesn't count.
