BB...I am very sad for the loss of those close to you. It tends to bring us all closer to our own mortality whether is was a suspected loss or not. I am truly sorry.
It sounds like a bittersweet time in your life as you say goodbye to friends.

Enjoy life and be safe on your 'new' adventure. The Roadliner is a beautiful machine.

I'm out of town visiting friends up north and haven't been here as much as I usually am.

Very sorry to hear about the loss of your two friends. Expected passings are much easier to deal with than the sudden "out of the blue" kind of news. Good thoughts to you on both.

I know you're excited on the new scoot. You've contributed so much good info./advice just since I've been here to earn a lifetime membership award. So as far as I'm concerned your posts are always welcome here. Enjoy the Roadliner!!

With the Liner still in the family, I would guess that many of us have an interest in hearing how yours performs for you. Fill us in from time to time. Thanks and I wish you lots of safe riding on the new bike.

Hey BB,

Sorry to hear of your loved ones passing.

I'd buy your propipe, but I already have one. IMHO it's just about the best sounding (and performing) pipe for a RS out there.

Thanks for all the help you've given me, and all the other fellow RS owners out there. This site wouldn't be the same without you.

I've been thinking of changing bikes myself, but I don't think I can part with my RoadStar. I'm actually thinking of going to the dark side and getting a Harley. I haven't made up my mind yet, but I'm leaning toward a Road King Classic or a Street Glide. I rode my Brother's '07 Street Glide and it's a nice bike. Maybe I'll keep the RS for a bobber, or leave it as-is. I might even sell it. I still think in a lot of respects it's a better bike than the HD, but you cannot deny how cool a Harley looks, besides the undeniable fact that they hold their value better than any other bike out there.

I was at the dealer (Yami) the other day and sat on a Roadliner. If I stayed within the Star line of bikes, that would be my choice. I met a guy on a ride yesterday that has a midnight that he's put 20K on in the last 8 months with no trouble, and he loves it. It just needs more chrome and a better pipe.

Which one did you get? What color? Have fun with it, I'm sure you're going to love it! Don't be a stranger, and good luck!

Mark

Nice ride BB. I was at a local dealer here over the weekend, and he was trying to talk me into tradin' for a leftover 07'Strat. Beautiful bike..maroon and black, loaded. Just cant part with the Roadie.
