This is a stupid question But it has been about 250 miles since I re-Jetted went alot leaner that stock.
My pipes 3" HD Straights seem to be getting louder Can running Leaner than stock make your pipes louder by burning out the carbon or the Baffles or something else?

if you have baffles in them, you could be blowing the packing out, which will make it louder. I'm afraid i dont know enough about your pipes to know if you have repackable baffles or not.

Your jetting isn't all that lean so I wouldn't worry about that. Can't say about the pipes.

Noticed mine were getting louder last year. Then after a while the rattle at high speed started. Found two issues. First the rear cylinder exhaust gasket needed to be replaced. Was just barely leaking. Then the baffles were loose. Pushed them both forward as far as the screw will let you. Then added a washer and retightened. Noticed a difference in the tone right away. Now I did both repairs at the same time. So I can't say which one it was for sure. But that fixed the "Louder" issue I had!!
