I'm about the same Bigboy, I'm hard on sun glasses, so I stick to home depot for safety glasses..

I have Oakly Monster pups $90 and I love them. I bought some Panoptixs with the light transition lenses ($125)and loved them both times I wore them.....I was putting my helmet on dropped them at night stepped forward to pick them up and crack!! So I grabbed my Oakleys and started wearing those. I do miss the Panoptixs but I'm scared to buy another pair I've had my oakleys for over a year now...

Wiley-x jp2 light adjusting i wear them everywhere even when not on the bike they are nearly indestructible light and they come with removable foam eyecups that are the most comfortable i have found. A little pricey but you can get them for less on ebay if you time your bids right

just my 2cents

Another supporter of the Bobsters. I use the arms and croakies, instead of the strap. The kit came with a case, amber, clear and tinted lenses, a strap (for the goggles look) and arms (for the sunglasses look) and "croakies" type sunglasses strap, and a cleaning cloth all for less than $40 including shipping on ebay.

Wal-mart in these areas have a motorcycle section. They carry a brand called "Wind Riders". All different shades , including clear (my favorite , for night riding). 12 bucks! Foam backing and all. Been wearing that brand for years , and they're not hard on the wallet. BB

rec-spec motorcycle glasses, with transition lenses. My in-law is an optician, so its pretty much cost only.

I was wearing anything & everything I could find, trying it all out...decided I wasn't thrilled with goggles & straps. Then I found these Gatorz Velocity glasses, and now I won't wear anything else. http://www.atgsunglasses.com/vebisugasu.html

Aircraft grade aluminum, made in USA, comfortable and durable as they come.
