WTB head light switch 8 Months, 1 Week ago  
Hi all i'm looking for the headlight switch high/low on the left side the dealer will only sell the complete plug and play set up. they want a fortune for it and don't need the clam shells but would tack any combo with the switch this for a 2000 roadstar

The switches are sold as a complete unit only. At least they don't make you buy both sides as a package. On their hard saddlebags if you need a hinge, you get a pair; If you need a latch, you get a pair. I don't know of any aftermarket supplier for that stuff.For a Harley you can buy the individual switches because of the prolifferation of aftermarket products.

On google or whatever search type in "motorcycle salvage" You should get smothered with a long list of places all over the country. That might get you somewhere.

geeze I need one also for a 2000, went to the dealer here in Ontario and they want 250 bucks and it comes as the whole assembly, what a joke!

look on ebay there are more and i think v-stars are the same switch and look at warrior's and royal stars
