Eye Protection, is it a Law? 6 Months, 1 Week ago
We all know it's extremely important to wear eye protection when riding. It only makes since. I would never go riding without it. But, My question is:

Is it a law?

It's the law in Florida even with a windshield. In Kentucky you must wear them unless you have a windshield. There is info about all states someone will add here shortly, I bet.

To my knowledge it is not required in Ontario.

However, I wouldn't consider riding without eye protection.

GA requires either eye protection or a windshield.

Seems a shame to have to legislate what should be common sense, but go figure. Darwin is out there just waiting to hand out more awards and it seems there's no shortage of contestants these days.

Michigan requires eye protection at speeds higher than 35 mph. They are required regardless of a windshield.

Every now and again I see riders here in SW Utah without eye protection, and I can't imagine how they can stand it. I wear it all the time when I ride.

If you guys ever what to know a law like this go to the store and pick up a copy of EasyRider Mag. Within the first few pages you will see a list of every state and what their requirments are. And then when your done looking up laws check out the bikes & not to mention babes. Of course I only buy it for the articles
