STATE UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL

316.211 Equipment for motorcycle and moped riders.--
(2) A person may not operate a motorcycle unless the person is wearing an eye-protective device over his or her eyes of a type approved by the department.


Of course they made it clear that eye-protective devices be worn on the eyes... Uh, I guess, as opposed to...?

In Wisconsin it's Required by law for instructional permit holders unless equipped with windscreen which is 15" or higher above handlebars Still a good idea regardless.

Because we have a tendency to travel between states I found a link that will give us a heads up to what we can expect from them. Maybe it'll save someone an unnecessary encounter with a LEO.

here in the Mini State (R.I.) it's law ............ You can't enforce common sense That's why we've all seen riders without protection ..........
