Baja mini chopper 4 Years ago
Well it's almost Victoria May long weelend here in Alberta.
I just slipped over to the local Crap'n'Tire to pick up some car parts, and spotted this little Baja bike just like the one shown in POP RIVET'S avatar. It was 500 bucks for the floor model with a 200cc engine. It looked so cute, I thought I could afford to splurge abit on the kids this long-weekend..... Ya, okay..... It was ME that wanted it, but that will be my excuse to the Mrs....
Anyways, I'm going to take my son on some trail rides this weekend, and the RoadStar is not much of a trail bike. I almost hate to even get on the Roadie this weekend due to the idiots on the roads, and the "statistical" highest accident rate on May long weekend.
So, we'll stick to the woodland trails of a huge ranch on the Bja Mini this weekend, and stay off the public roads. I think the Baja mini is going to be a blast!
To everyone out there, may you have a VERY SAFE, ACCIDENT FREE MAY-LONG-WEEKEND Riding your RoadStars out there this weekend! Enjoy!

It is a blast..have fun

Two issues...if she doesnt start.down the road it is the spark plug..they kill plugs.. get a spare one but check that kill switch first and gas..

Also the primary chain tensioner has been upgraded...if all of a sudden ya hear noise from the primary drive chain the rubber on the chain tensioner has come off....the replacement is much heavier...it is under the big black plastic cover...on the left side of the bike....unless yours has the upgraded one...
they are great on dirt roads and in the fields...

Thanks for the heads-up Pop. I will carry an extra plug with me. I guess when you've only got ONE cylinder with ONE sparkplug, it might become an issue out on the trail. I find this little bugger is kinda cold-blooded, and she loves the choke upon startup. I will keep an eye on that chain tensioner.
We have been riding it all evening so far. And even my HARLEY-DAVIDSON riding buddies have come over, and couldn't wait to take her for a spin in the bush trails. This thing is a blast alright. And best of all, I don't need to worry about scuffing the paint on a $500 bike. And spare parts are cheap and easy to get.
These H-D riders had a blast, and they are thinking of getting one for themselves.
