I'm finding that the modular one is getting used more and more. Especially considering that here in Atlanta there's not all that many places I go that don't require higher speeds (i.e., >40 mph.). I do feel more protected wearing the full model. It can be a hassle at times though. I also use the "baseball" visor like it shows in that picture to try to keep from looking like a toadstool, but at high speeds the wind sometimes catches it and tries to strangle me. I remove the ear covers, so there are just straps in front and back of my ears in a V shape (too keep cool and to hear everything). The truth is I hate helmets (too hot) and windsheilds (too cop/not cool). But that means 35 mph is the top speed for maximum comfort. Above that you can get used to it, but it makes a 60 mile round trip feel like 18 holes of golf in 95 degrees.   Logged     Last Edit: 2008/05/18 18:32 By JHouse.   Does this bike make me look fat?
