Re:In the Zone? 6 Months ago
Almost everytime I ride at some point I catch myself with a big grin on my face. I've talked to several people about how easy it is to "zone out" on my bike. It doesn't seem to matter what kind of frame of mind I'm in, the bike responds just how I need her to.

Some days a mellow ride in the country is just what the doctor ordered. The bike just hums along. I'm totally into the scenery and what's happening around me.

Other days, like today, it's all about speed and carving the turns.

The weight, the low center of gravity, the power all combine to make for a very fun ride.

These bikes really are something special.

Weather is right, humidity is right.... Sweet smell of the flowers in the morning. Bike purrs like a kitten without any tweaking of the choke. I love the spring riding season myself.

Yea, it's a blast when as my fried likes to say, "The weather was righteous" It's 68 degrees in the morning, the sun is just rising, and you find yourself on I10 all alone, the nearest vehicle is about 1/4 mile away, and you're humming along with the engine. Not a thought in your mind, just enjoying being alive and riding this great bike. Then you realize you've passed your exit about a mile back, and come to reality and have to go to work. The President of our company has ridden for many years, and he said he's done the same thing on many occasions. You just get into the ride.
