Cleveland area job 1 Month, 1 Week ago
Anyone know of anyone in the area of Cleveland Ohio looking for steady work? My brother owns a small Landscaping company and has had trouble finding steady reliable workers. He is starting out around $13.00/ hour with no experience more if the person has landscaping knowledge. His Facebook page is

https://m.facebook.com/drlandscapedesign/

Contact Derick if you are interested or pass it on to someone that is. Our youngest brother was helping him on the side but his full time job is taking up his time now and Derick has work or 2 more people and is doing it by himself at the moment.

On a side note its a damn shame what has happened to peoples drive to be self sufficient. He told me he talked to a guy the other day and the guy went on and on about how bad he needed a job and money so Derick said "You have a job we start tomorrow AM pays 13 bucks a hour and we start at 8" The guy said he would think about it and then never called him back.

I don't know of anyone but it seems like the majority of people want paid a lot to do a little. They also don't get back to you nor work hard for honest pay.

Thats the truth. If I didnt live in Va I would be helping him a few hours a week trying to stay caught up. I have another brother (4 of us total) and he is helping on Saturdays just so he doesnt leave any customers unfinished.

Good luck to him. I've been in the landscape game over 30 years and your brothers issue is the plight of most landscapers. We're s larger co and have over 70 employees but 40 of them are Hispanic H2B labor. Without them we'd be lost. We couldn't depend on the labor pool in the area to get us 40 good dependable guys that can pass a piss test.
