The Clinic has not always been free. 1 Month ago
Got ya too look but yes for us members now it is free but only because years ago Gram and others were able to get adds on here (without pop-ups)to keep us up and running. Those who have been around awhile can remember when we sent what you could afford monthly to help keep it going. But if you couldn't send anything that didn't matter either.
I know nothing about how the software works and wish I did,but I guess it gets old like some of us and slows down needing to be updated thru time. I know Gram loves this sight as much as I do,probably more I'm sure and I hope that there will be some way to keep it going but if not I am very grateful to him and the others who have made this info available for so many years. If it gets to stay up I will be even happier.
The people on here are aces in my book. Those I've personally met have all been great to party with. So my wish for everyone on here is God Bless You and for you to have a Merry Christmas and an outstanding 2018

Sure, I throw money to my Meetup group, and this site is a whole lot more informative!

The Clinic is far from being free,
it is the most expensive site I ever found..

I know many people are offering to pay to keep the site running, now,
but how will that work in the future with other free forums and Facebook being available?

We're willing to pay because we know what the site is and who is on it, and we don't want to lose that.

Besides the fact that you're not going to have any owners of new Roadstars showing up, how do you get "new" owners of old Roadstars to believe that it is worth paying to be here?

I hate to say it, but the day I bought my bike and started researching where to get my information, a pay site would not have been too high on my list.

(Although I still like the idea of paying for DVDs or other form of an archive of the site)

+1 what Shores and the rest of you said. I also have have to agree with what Mike said. I too bought my Roady a little over a year ago and found this site by accident looking for how to change the oil. i have learned alot over this past year sorry about the rant.
