Keep an extra eye out (yes , grow a third eye ) for those that will be on the roads in bad shape. Like to have everyone back here in one piece next week. BB

Funny you should mention that Bear.....

Took a little trip over to Tellico Plains, TN for lunch. Went thru Madisonville on the 4 lane hiway and these 2 idiots pull out in front of me. Never look up, they are too busy texting on their cellphones.

As Bugs Bunny would say... " What a moroon!"

Like you said..... HEADS UP folks....!

Ride safe! Ride often.....!

Everyone PLEASE have an enjoyable weekend. Make some memories.....

A few people were sick at work during the week. I of course waited until today to do it.

Everyone have a happy and safe weekend

I road the apache trail today from Tortilla Flat, AZ to Lake Roosevelt. What a nasty road about 25 mile dirt road, going up and down a few mountains; a washboard dirt road for much of it, very narrow in spots. At times, I couldn't exceed 1/2MPH because the road was that crappy. I always wanted to ride this road. Most people wouldn't do it on a cruiser, but I'm an idiot. Dirt bike yes, 4WD yes, quad yes, DP, cruiser dumb, but yes. People haul boats on that road, some with RV's . Almost lost it a few times. Took about 1.5 hours for that distance to find pavement + a 90 mile ride back home. Shook the heck of of the bike and me. Need to check for loose bolts. At least I can say I did it.

Have a safe and happy weekend, folks. Musky, I hope you're on the mend. Sly, glad to hear you made it in one piece!

I took off down Horse Mountain Road, here in Shelbyville, TN. It's about four miles, but it's all twists and hairpin turns, hills and thrills. Nice ride, but one I'd probably scared to make at night on the bike. Popped in at a friend's place for lunch... All in all, a very nice day.

It\'s easy to tell who your real friends are: Lock your dog and your wife in the trunk for an hour. When you open it, notice which one is happy to see you.
