the streching of the rubber band...A.K.A. stress 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Well brothers its been a rough start of the Laborday weekend for my family and I so far. On my side of te family I recieved a call at work that my Uncle passed away early friday morning, in turn which was a shock for me fairly good health, he had a anurisum (i think how thats spelled) and choked in his sleep,he was 57. And then on my wifes side lastnight Saturday morning at 4 am her Grandfather passes away at the hospitial he was at for a seziure and possible stroke he was in his 80's, and to top thinkgs off my Father has been in the hospitial for over a month due to several illnesses he has had since 2001, he is now out of his sedation but thinkgs are not looking good for him either he is 56, they say it comes in threes, I dont want it to happen but I know he wont be suffering anymore if my Father goes, hes had multiple strokes in the past, organ failures, and accidents around the house due to his disabilities that has caused more problems...Fellow Clinic Brothers I jsut had to get this out off my chest for today I am heading on a bike ride down to see my father today wile my wife is with her family then go with my mother to arange funeral arrangments for my uncle, we are his only family, grandma, mother, me and my lil sis, he was single and no kids, and just moved up here 2 weeks ago from kentucky. Sorry to bring in bad news but had to get it off my chest some how thank you guys for listening...

I don't know if your a religious man, but God bless you brother and we (my family) will keep you in our prayers. I know how hard times like this are after losing my father. This to shall pass. Grief is a natural process don't fight it. It took untill the day of my fathers funeral for it to hit me and that was days after his death. You may want to drive because if you were close, your mind will be racing. Sorry for your loss.

Hang in there butter bean. We are praying for you and your family and for your dad's speedy recovery. It is tough to get so much bad news happening all at once, but life does turn around and gets better and time heals all things.

Ride safe...

Butter Bean, I feel for you my RSC brother. You Dad is the "MAN" I lost mine 8 and a half years ago, it was the worst day of my life. It is tough to even think that day is even close to be there. He also suffered alot in the last from poor health. I can't make things better for you, or anyone else, but just let you know we are all here to talk to or listen. Our mom just passed away in Jan this year, that was the second worst day, it will get easier for you but it just takes time and FRIENDS. Not a day goes by that I don't feel like crying my eyes out still, but I just go on knowing they are better place now. Mom, Dad I miss you and love you both. Sorry I had to put that in there. Butter Bean my thoughts are with you.

ButterBean - I wanted to offer my condolences for your recent losses. My plan was to just get on and read a few threads while watching the power block on spike this morning. But, I felt compelled to log on and "sit a spell" with you. I'm the last of 14 kids (all from the same mom and dad), and the one thing that I've come to learn is that the one thing that life guarantees you, is death. We each have to go that way, and I know that doesn't make it any easier. I've buried my mother, father and three brothers. It ain't ever easy, but being a God fearing man, I've also come to look at death a little differently as well. Everyone suffers in their own way. Mine was to either hit the road, or build something. Whatever you do, don't fight the grief (it's a by-product of love). Let it happen. You gotta get it out. Godspeed, and take care.
