Director of Operations for a specialty chemicals company. We make fire retardant and stabilizer additives for the plastics industry. I was in the lead acid battery industry for 15 years until Exide Battery filed for bankruptcy.... I don't think it was my fault! I travel between our 3 plants in Indiana, Ohio and Georgia.

My Title is "Manufacturing Engineer". But I don't do alot of engineering...

The Company I work for supplies the Auto industry with carpet for both mats and molded floor pan. I handle the specifications for each model and work to elimanate any issues arising from a manufacturing stand point. I also handle the developemnt of new products to meet the changes in the Industry.

I do get to travel some, visiting the BMW plant in SC and Mercedes in Alabama.
But most of the time I just enter data and keep track of the manufactoring process. That is why you see me on here so much, always at the computer...

Please be gentle, I work for a large oil company in the midwest,my job is to buy and sell fuel, gas and and oil to large stations, power plants and large ranchers on a bid system. Believe me I am not the reason for the high prices on fuel and gas,but I do get blamed for it everyday. Oh yeah Mobil 1 V Twin is the best motorcycle oil on the market.

I'm sort of retired but not quite.. Up to 2 years ago, I was a residential builder. the stress of building 40 or 50 homes a year finally got to me, so now I pic and choose my own customers..Also, I like doing some of the work myself, I'm just on the front side of 60 and figure I will keep doing something the rest of my life.. When my dad retired he sat down in his easy chair and didn't do anything.. Bad choice IMHO. He just withered away.. If you don't use it, you loose it...Isn't that the reason we ride bikes? Keeps the dream alive. Doesn't hurt to get out there and sweat once in a while either. Man how did i get to this subject? Oh well, Y'all have a good day...
