No, they DO NOT taste like chicken!
I have tried ground not (please don't ask how)and it is a bit greasy and very gamey. And I willingly eat rabbit, pheasant and other small and big game. Ground hog ain't really high on my repeat list.

Don't think I could even try it. Never even seen a ground hog in real life, closest thing we have in my area is a prairie dog, and no way in heck would I even consider cooking up one of those disgusting little critters. I'm not big on any rodents as a food source, though.
