Who has the Sig SP2022 in 9 MM 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Morning Gents, question this morning is who has experience with the Sig SP2022 9MM. After years of shooting Revolvers and other Autos i'm curious as to who has this weapon for CCW. 1st my collections includes a Glock 17, H&K 40 and various revolvers. After an busy couple of weeks i was researching the perfect carry sidearm. I was surprised to find that of all the guns on the market available for CCW, the Sig Sauer SP2022 was my choice. Very light weight, accurate like my H&K and has all the features i like to see in a handgun. A decocker, double action 2 15 round mags. The trigger pull is around 10 lbs in double action and 4 lbs in single action. At the range yesterday i put 150 rounds down range with no issues and at 35 yards i was throwing groups at 4.5 inches. It carrys nicely on the hip and after awhile i forget its there. Keep in mind that while i'm at the range i use my 15 rd mags but while i carry i load the stock 10 round mag. Most of all was the price, I paid $479.00 plus tax out the door and another $88.00 for the 2 15 round mags. What an awesome weapon for the money. Your thoughts as i'm thinking of buying yet another for my Daughter.

i had a sig 2022 it was an under rated gun.
most old school sig fans do not like it, it is the main side arm of the frence law enforcement.it will be made until the year 2022 hance the name. this was to get the france contract.
for my taste it is big for a ccw but here in az we do not need winter clothing like other parts of the nation.
the pistol itself is like most polymer ones nodays inter changeable backstrap,2 hi-cap mags.(15 plus 1) and nightsights stock.
the da/sa trigger is nice smooth and crisp but you may find a twagn feeling in the frame to your hand after each shot using a snap cap dry fire the gun and you will see what i mean.
you will enjoy it and hopefully you will only need it at the target range good luck and safe shooting

My dad had a Sig 22 Mosquito awesome piece .. great Shooter at the Range I dont have my CC permit yet but when I do Im thinkin the Rossi .38 SP snub would be perfect over this Glock 9-19 .. I had a S&W Sigma that was Polymer that would give your hand that TWANG , all them LIGHT guns seem to hit your hand kinda hard when they have some caliber to them .. mine was a Sigma .40 Cal. I shot better with most .45s Glocks Paras Hi Points,

Don't have the 2022 but I but I do have a 229DAK in .40. I topped carrying an auto and went back to a .38 snub gun but te SIG is an outstanding piece and one of the best I've ever had.

Sig is always a very good choice. I'm looking at the P226 with night sites, 15 rounds of 9mm.

Was looking at many CZ's but the online dealer wanted to sell a tune up with purchase.. If the gun needs a tune up direct from the factory, I can't see paying
200 bucks for it,(tune up) should have been covered in the warranty. Sigs come out of the factory ready to go!

The P226 is used by the Secret Service. The Navy SEALS have a Sig gun especially made for them, a bit smaller than the P226.

good shootin!

CZ's do not need a tune up. If you were looking online at cz customs thats what they do.
They are a very well built pistol and reasonably priced. I guess you can tell that I like them

My brother bought one of the surplus, Euro police CZ pistols at some bargain clearance price and its been some of the best money spent. Reliable, great fit & finish and very accurate. It's not good looking but the performance is first rate.
