Nice day Saturday, stopped at the local bike gathering place.
I got off and went in and I looked back. Three dudes had crowded around my bike looking at it.

As you can see there is not much mods and bike appears pretty well stock.
Their lips didn't move so you wonder what they are thinking.

To me it looks like just another Roadie. Not that it makes a difference to me what other people think, but I just wonder how other people view the bike.Must be all the chrome glitz?

Yesterday was nice too, but I wired my Town Car for the trailer, then went on a short late evening ride. Most exceptional winter here I have ever seen.

Anyway, bike is done with all I want to do to it, and car and trailer are ready for vacation in April.

When ever I ride with my HD buddies they like to stop at the HD dealerships in other towns to pick up a T shirt. That always gives me an opportunity to park the R* in the front row, Right in front of the door. Sometimes I don't go in the store I just sit back and watch em check it out. You can see them pointing at different things some even smile when they are looking.

My Wife and I ride with our Church.

Everyone has an H-D, except my wife and I.

My Wife's is Custom Painted. Mine has a lot of non-stock options on it.

I've been asked about how to make their bikes sound like mine... or my wife's.

Dunno, I do like our bike and the Bub Jug Huggers on her VStar 1100 Silverado (Classic) and my Roadie.

I get stares from H-D people, because I've got H-D FL bags mounted on my bike and a hitch and other things. They can't quite put a finger on what kind of bike I have.

I think its funny.

Took the super slab to Portland today and trailed along with a guy on a Harley, We were just tending to our own business, but was nice to ride along with someone today.

We cruised along at 65-70 for several miles. Yeah,I guess people trying to figure out what the bike is.
I'm used to looking at the same bike every day, so I have no idea how it looks to others since I ride alone most of the time. Sometimes I ride with my two boys, but they pretty much shut it down at the end of the summer.

I ride with several hd guys and I'm always the center of attention, the loudest and best sounding one, and of course in the front of the pack on the straitaways

I too ride with a lot of others who have H.D.'s when they first look at the R*, they ask what custom Harley is that? I usually just tell em' it's a Yamaharley, Looks like a Harley, but Kicks Arse like a Yamaha!. Good for a laugh, although a number of them have converted. To me, I don't care what you ride, or how you look, let's just RIDE!

I ride with a bunch of harleys and people just think mine is a custom, with no badges I guess its an ez mistake, a lot of people don't know that there are nice cruisers that look sound and beat harleys for half the price...
