Friend of mine has the 1300 with the bags and I studied and measured quite a bit You COULD make them fit but you would have to modify the mounting brackets considerably. Also it would be hard to match the curve of the bags with the fender. IMHO it would be more work than it's worth. Steven

Just completed an install of VStar 1300 hard leather bags on my Roadie. Used the Roadstar mounting brackets. All modifications were done with the idea that I don't want to change the Roadstar mounting brackets. (I may want to go back some day.) It cost about $32 for all parts to make the mod and were bought at ACE Hardware. These bags are much bigger than the Roadstar and I do like the push button to open on the top of the bags.
