Thanks for the heads-up. The polished rotors are so pretty. But, with a couple of good applies of the brakes and they get scuffed quickly. Glad I got some pictures before I rode it... :0)

Polish the rotors but don't polish the braking surface.

Why would someone want to polish the braking surface when it gets scratch up on braking.

Probably easier to polish the whole thing, though.

I've polished 5 rotors .... not difficult to polish just the areas that you want.

I usually polish the whole area inside of the braking surface and the edge of the rotor.
