This thread discusses the Content article: Odo's Addendum to other Valve Adjustment Articles Great article on Valve adjustment by Odo , I got mine right by accident I guess .Still looking for any one who has noticed side to side movement of the Rocker arm assembly when doing valve adjustment . Posted on this earlier but no takers so far ,I think it could be a signifigant source of top end noise.

When the cyclinder is at TDC you should have alittle play in the arm. Or at least mine does. And it runs just fine.

Yeah , mine too running Great from idle to limiter , but that ocassional nocking drives me crazy...Keep thinking there must be a mechanical reason for it .
