Smhowse is right on target. I used the link he refers to in his post to set my float (which was way high) & it worked great. Be advised though, the carb needs to be all the way off the bike to do it that way, but it's pretty accurate. I double checked it after reassembly by the method described in the Yamaha manual & it checked perfectly.
