I relocated mine last month. However, when I attempted to relocate the choke on the L/H side of the seat I broke the choke jam nut when tightening it down. Soooo, I made a bracket and mounted it right where the pump use to mount, just like Docs. Then, while I had the carb off to replace the choke cable, I relocated the electrical wires and choke cable over the manifold. Real clean and plenty of elect wire.

Now I am debating going pumpless. The thought of the fuel lines over the engine and next to the battery does not set well with me. There is between 3/4 and 1 inch minimum spacing in areas and I have added insulation sleeving to the fuel lines in those hot areas and extra clamps so not to vibe a hole in the lines.

Its not a bad mod. But maybe pumpless...
