Even tho it doesn't show any gas while sitting still...ride the bike for a couple of miles and more than likely the gauge will start working.

GOT ER DONE!!!

I pulled the green pug, blew into it just for good measure, checked the fuses (all good), disconnected the battery and waited a while (about 2 hours), then plugged it all back in and turned the key. WAH-LA!! It works now.

This terrific web site saves the day once again!!

Thanks everyone, especially GRAM and ODO!!

you need to disconnect battery about 1/2 hr. if no wiring problem it will then work. i've done this because of the same problem you described it works
