Just wondering, when you say you hear the motor spin after you shut it down are you talking about the starter gears spinning? Thats what I hear with mine sinse I baught it. Sometimes it is very short in duration (a couple of seconds) and sometimes it's a little longer, bugs the hell out of me though.

Check out the video links in the second post of the thread in the following link. It's normal.

Sounds like how mine was running with intake leak and SVS. If your choke don't idle the bike up much when it's on, suspect and intake leak. If the engine sputters and pops back through carb way longer than it should when cold, suspect an intake leak. It could be coils though also, Or plugs.

What if its not the coil? then you're out $112. Don't think they'll take it back.

they told me last night its back ordered, but might be in by july 12 or so. wrong answer. i told them to keep it and orderd a pair of dyna coils and wires on line. $152 deliverd. 4 working days or less. so an upgrade wont hurt. and i can check for leaks when i put them in.

Installed new coils no more fouling on the front cylinder grate! Now I got the dreaded SVS on the back. I suppose it was loading up a bit. well I have seen that movie before so. . . sea foam and an oil change here we go. And back to the stock plugs. Thanks for letting me kick it around a bit and for all the help.
