annoying chirping 5 Years, 1 Month ago
I just bought a 2003 Road Star. Previous owner had taken out the AIS system. Plugs are put in. Now there is an annoying chirp every time I decelerate. Sounds like it is coming from the front. I'm thinking that the front plug is leaking. Any thoughts? How would I get the plug out?

You at the wrong end of the bike.

Noises can come from all over the bike when you're riding it.

A chirp on decel usually means the belt is too loose. Tighten each adjustment bolt 1/4 turn.

Ya gotta stop hitting the city chickens (pigeons) to get rid of that noise.
