Sounds like you may have more going here than just a newer bike. The price is good, and if it looks like you want it to and has more goodies then it is a bonus, but just for the 06 versus the 00 I would not make the switch. Don't get me wrong I have almost 30K on my 06 and it runs better all the time and I love to ride it as much as I can.

I'm ridin' an '06 Midnite that I've had a couple of years. It had SVS when I got it but that was because of the PO only adding pipes and jetting it really rich. Once I got that taken care of I can say it pulls my big ole' butt around really well with NO problems. And no tranny issues with the 1700's. I rode Harleys for 35+ years and now I tell'em that it's the best Harley that I've ever had!

I decided not to go look at the bike...I really thought about it, and in this economy, it is not a smart move to spend money for just a few more upgrades...maybe I will just sink a little money in my MM and just be happy with it....it has never had a problem and just does what it is supposed to do! Thanks for all the input folks!
