My 2007 Roadstar just went dead driving down the road the check engine light goes 2 flash 9 flashes anybody know whats wrong

no such thing as 9 flashes, the most is 8, and that would indicate the fuel level meter unit is bad, so the gas guage won't work properly, and no such thing as 2 flashes either, starts at 3 throttle position sensor, 4 speed sensor, 6 solenoid, these 3 trouble flash from the engine trouble indicator light, the lamp just to the right of neutral light

That would be to easy if it was just out of gas. And it had a bad sending unit. If it is not that easy did you get an extended warranty?

guess i will go back and check the flashes will that make it go dead it want even turn over

Check your battery cables first. Both ends of each cable.

i went through something similar last week with my *R.
Check all the connectors for your rectifier and stator.
make sure it is charging(mine wasnt) until i checked connections and then it started charging again.
musta had a connector loosen up while i was riding
