I made a purchase of an "all in one" unit taillight assembly. It has turn signals and brake all in one with the license bracket. This unit was manufactured for a "well known American Motorcycle Company" (HD). For that purpose it was a plug and play. Needless to say I had to do some splicing to get the wiring matched up. It went pretty well, everything works well and looks good. The only issue I see is that the indicator light on the speedo for the turn signals is now flashing faster, which I think indicates that it "thinks" there is a bulb out. Is that because the LED's draw less than the stock light assembly? Is that something I should worry, or do anything about?

Yes.

Only it if bothers you.

If it bothers you then you can either wire a bulb into the ciruit, wire a resistor into the cirucit, buy an aftermarket adjustable flasher module, or a module which 'fools' the OEM flasher.

Thanks Doc.

it doesn't bother me, I just don't want to do any harm to the electrical system.
