They can be modified for whatever pipes by getting different size innards.

My screwup. Sorry. But almost any pipes can have modified baffles in them. I'm sure others will chime in soon. I have D/D 3" with the baffles they came with. Thought about going with Thundermonsters but never had the time to mess with them.

You can make home made baffles for any brand of pipes You just have to know the ID of the pipes and if you are talking out the OEM baffles for your home made you can use them as a go by. I have made a number of baffles of all sorts. You can use exhaust reducers and the like from your auto parts store. Here are some I made.

BTW I have Bub Stubbies and Bub Jug Huggers, I also had Hard Chrome K2's but could never get the sound I wanted so I sold them. The straight type pipes are easy to make them for or just about any pipe you can access the rear of.

I use swedges from pepboys. they have all kinds of sizes and configurations. To join different size pipe. You can also add bolts through and through to help baffle it down. I notice that you can buy baffle screen to add to the swedges form J&P cycles, I think is where I saw the screen. The screen can be bent or molded to almost any shape and then wrapped with fiberglass packing to quieten them down. It would probaly take some experimenting to get the right sound.

I am in the same boat. I need new pipes, but want duals and will have to wait for the $$. The pipes I have sound like crap and I have bought baffles but they did not fit right. I had to use the pepboys swedges to get them mounted, but they still dont seal good at the inner part of the HK pipes. Surprise the HK baffels didnt fit the HK pipes!

Well that was easy... Can't believe how well they work. I was just trying to cut down on decel popping & it now sounds like my pipes were neutered. Thanks again!
