It was a record breaking High today 103 degrees. I know it gets hotter in some places but for north Georgia we aren't use to this kind of heat. According to the weather it could be 105 tomorrow. If it gets to 100 tomorrow we will have 9 days this month to hit the century mark. With NO real rain in the last 3 weeks, the water company is concidering limiting water usage for companies. We already have restictions for residential use. If restrictions include companies Daltons industry will suffer. It takes alot of water to dye the carpet we make. And if you know anything about Dalton you are aware it is the life of this area.

I may be considered a fair weather biker, but its even to hot to ride my Road* except in the early morning hours.

Sure is a strage summer Fair weather hell. I usually quit at 90. I ride to enjoy. If I won't enjoy it I take the truck.

It's been hot here too but not that hot.

Long range forecast indicates a warmer than usual fall.

I here ya jreed, I was up at my cabin on the TN river the last couple of days and it was too damn hot to take the boat out.. all I wanted to do was swim, and the water was probably 85 degrees.. and the fish don't bite either .. but the cold beer was good.
