#65020 Raider Joe (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 55 Hard Krome 3" Res-Tech Exhaust Pipes 4 Years, 3 Months ago   Has any body put a set of Hard Krome 3" Res-Tech Exhaust Pipes ON? I wanted nice looking pipes without the annoying loudness. I love the sound of the v-twin but when it shakes the house and sets off car alarms it is too much. The Res-Techs are suppose to be Reduced Exhaust Sound. Has any body got them. Give me the low down. BUT they are on Bushr Jackson's bike.... Yep he supervised the install Any hoo...when we do our noise party we compare the Megacone to the RES techs The RES tech sound very good...soft on idle but with a good roar on throttle... look very nice... The Megacone is louder on idle but similar on the throttle.. They are quieter than the older 3" hard chromes Maybe he will give his opinion when he gets on line... When you are on the throttle they are loud but very cilvilized when not cranking it. I have good neighbours so when I go to work at 6am and I don't wake them up--but could if they weren't. I also noticed better acceleration after I put them on. Don't forget to take off the side cover when you install them and grab a buddy to help. The were in like new condition and puurdy!
