Ok with the carb cleaning brands, I`ll try to find this in the city.about changes on my bike I was telling Musky that I took off the AIS system about 10 days ago but nothing happens. Suddenly about 3 days ago I started the engine and it blew some flames out from the pipes,I really scared a little `cause it could damage the jetts don`t you. About the milage I bought it with that bunch of miles I had run it just 200 miles

Hello, all, I am going to do the AIS removal this weekend, and would like to know if I really need to take off the tank to do this? Help Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

PO took it off mine so cant say for sure, but from the looks of it, I think it would make it easier and less chance of banging the tank with a wrench....

You can Cap the vacuum hose off at the manifold if you remove the tank , for a cleaner finish , but you can also plug that line and tuck it out of the way some place. I pulled my tank. It's only a 1/2 hours tops to pull the tank and put it back on , no big deal. BB

You could try putting ICE or dry ice on them to cool them and make them shrink. We used to cool jet engine bearing races in a coffee can using a fire extinguisher and yes that was standard proceedure it cooled them REAL QUICK.
