Drill the Stock Exhaust (stage 1 5 Years, 9 Months ago  
This thread discusses the Content article: Drill the Stock Exhaust (stage 1

Stage 1 mod with 8 1/2" holes - Do I need carb adjusting? If I go to stage 3, will a Dyno jet stage 1 kit be sufficient to re-jet? HELP! Thanks!

Stage 1 ..... no.

Stage 3 ..... probably so buy a jet kit. For 1600's most likely not. You should have an adjustable needle in the kit but I don't know what main jets are in this kit. Hopefully the DJ 175, 180 and 185 main jets as that's what you will probably need.
