Drill the Stock Exhaust (stage 1 5 Years, 4 Months ago

HI
I just traded in my 04 roadstar for 06 stratoliner S & I love it, but my wife is compaining about the heat from the exhaust (maybe because of the catalytic converter) & to quiet for mi
I read your artical about how to drill the stock exhaust. Would the procedure be the same for my 06 stratoliner S? Can you tell me as much information as possible how to do so and if there is an additional adjustment required? I like the way the existing exhaust looks and I would like to keep them.

Subject: shifter mod
dvblair: Has anyone cut off the heel portion of the shifter? I never use it and would like to have the extra room. I would like to remove it but it looks like you would need a spacer on the shaft and I'm not sure ...
