Risers 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
One of our clinic members sold me a set of Yamaha billet handlebar risers.

They were in perfect condition and I actually installed them without uttering any words that you wouldn't hear at a local camp meeting. They answered my riding position problem like a charm.

Only problem is they don't have those nice little plastic "chrome" buttons to cover the bolt heads. Anyone know if they make covers for these or am I stuck with the very industrial looking bolt heads staring me in the face as I tool around town in a more comfortable position?

See the picture link for the ugly truth! Naked Riser Bolts

Didn't the stock risers have them? Been so long since I changed mine out I can't remember. If so, use those.

Re:Risers 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I tried to use the ones from the old risers but the bolt heads stick up too far. It's as if the bolts are too long for the cover. I guess that could be the case. I'm assuming they are the original bolts that came with the risers. Guess I better contact the seller and double check.

Thanks all!

I've moved my stock bars up and down trying to determine why I'm having shoulder pain after about an hour of riding. A little experiment before I decide to get either different bars or risers. So far, it seems the higher I go the better. Any suggestions?

Scrubber,
I used to have some mild tingles in my hands when the bars were in the stock position. Putting the risers on seems to have cured that issue.

I had a lot of shoulder pain also with about an houor of riding..the bars just did not seem right ...moved them up , down ...the bars just were not right....THOUGHT ABOUT CHANGING BARS....but instead bought risers...WOW..what a change...there great...bars fit right...rode 300 + miles and no pain....what a fix....

My risers are on backorder, but I can't wait to get them on. Tingling fingers and elbow pain on the 12-hour rides to GA and back were incentive enough for me!
