They have a deep throaty sound and a nice flow with the bike.The harley guys have to look twice when they hear it coming. Check out eBay if you're interested. they were $170 and very light weight in comparison to the factory mufflers. At $100 you can't go wrong. I have the tapered which are kind of low and throaty. I do have some decel popping, but other than that great pipes. There's a lot of ways to do it, and almost none of them could be wrong. It's going to come down to exactly what kind of look and sound you want. I found what I liked. I did the Phase 1 modification first, but already had a set pipes and mufflers sitting in a box... so, I installed them this Spring, and couldn't be happier!
