No doubt. I just rode my cousins ZX6 (600cc crotch rocket) the other day and its WAYY to fast. I also have small ones at home and want to still see them grow up. I'm only 35 and everyone still tells me I "drive like an old man". I'm proud of that.

The Road Star being slow or fast is relative.

As a 49 year old with a 3 year old at home, ANY bike that will get my 250lb. rump into triple digits without straining too much is plenty fast enough for me.

Is it the fastest cruiser out there? Heck no. But it sure is the best looking and what's the point of being good looking if you're moving so fast you can't hear the compliments?

How was that course, been thinking about taking it.

Greysnake,

I was an MSF Ridercoach a few years back. The experienced rider course won't necessarily teach you anything new, but it will challenge your skills at low speed maneuvers and will definitely give you a good refresher for some skills you might not have used for a while. I highly recommend it if you haven't been through a course in a while!

Sold my crouch rocket in 1989 and bought a big V-twin. Been riding a big v-twin and bunch of little Hondas ever since and couldn't be happier.

We had a buddy who didn't understand that just because one bike will go around a corner at a certain speed, another bike just like it won't necessarily go around the same corner at the same speed. After a while we gave him a nickname, Lay Down Larry.
