Curt, my hat is off to you. The bike sounds awsome.

Are you running any baffles? I have V&H Staggered Shortshots and have been playing around with the baffles tying to get the sound right, but haven't got it to where I want it yet.

No they are National brand I bought them on e-bay used for almost $400. They sell for a little over $600. I think the mounting brackets were for a Harley because I had to do mods to mount them. They arn't real wide but I like the way the follow the rear finder all the way down. Glad I got em. I use a cheap back pack on the back of the sissy bar to pack a lot of stuff if I need to.

No I am running torque cones no baffles. I can make torque cones or baffles. I you check my picture site you will see some of the baffles I made for the HK K2s I had. I am going to be selling those baffles on e-bay they fit 2 3/4 in HardKrome pipes. Been kicking the idea around of making and selling custom made baffle on e-bay for a while.

Curt, I was noticing listening to the sound of your bike that you may need to adjust the carb a little more. Maybe tweak the PMS screw a bit.....Nawww just kiddin lol I better not say that cause I follow all you do to the bike and you'd have it dissassembled and put back together before dark lol. Awesome sounding bike man. Glad I took the time to check out your page. You have an awesome sounding bike man. Lots of hard work paid off. Gotta do pipes and an air filter on mine soon. Then the dreaded adjustments lol. Later

Curt: "You da MAN" Damn, that bike sounds great, that's the sound I'm looking for. I got the RH Doolies installed and the AIS removed. Now, it's time to tune the carb and find that sound. BTW, what is your MPG with all of this carb tunig? I'm at 39 mpg and I know I can do a lot better.

Re:Potato Potato 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
WOW! That sounds almost as good as mine and I bet it just needs a little carb tweak to get there. You could probably get there by the end of the week if you set you mind to it.

Just kiddng. That sounds great!
