Water cooled, vertical twin. 42 hp for 360 pound bike can be quick!

Looks pretty sweet. Not sure why it's water cooled though. Or why it's not lighter. Dry weight on the 02 R1 was 382lbs. Have no idea why I rememeber that except that I bought a brand new 02 R1. One of my only brand new vehicles ever (and for sure the first).

Yamaha sure knows how to make a sexy looking bike

Not sure why it's water cooled though.

I would assume a 10,000+ RPM capable engine stuffed behind a fairing would welcome some coolant circulating its innards.
