Another member is setting me up with some bars and my grips are good but I'll keep you in mind if something falls through. I really appreciate it.

I'm not a body man but I don't see any reason why you couldn't take a little filler and putty over that. Sand it down good and shoot it whatever color you want.

Some body shops won't do tanks because people don't wash them out.
Ask if they'll work on it if you bring it in full of soapy water.

The first body shop I went to didn't do tanks and suggested I call the local Harley dealer to get a reference. They referred me to a local guy that they said was the best they've ever seen. I rode my bike to his shop after talking with him and he said no problem just bring the tanks in a couple of weeks.

Just dish it with a rubber mallet like I did to my 800 Vulcan. Can't tell it was ever dumped.

Heck yeah Jlb that can be fixed with a little prep work, bondo and a radius block sander.

I'd do it for you if I lived nearby but I'm on the other side of the world from most of you guys.

I bet even you could do it.

What year model is the bike? There's a whole set of nicely painted tins on Craigslist. I believe they were $400.00.

I'm sure I've got a headlight bucket and ring. What else? I may have more besides. PM me, if you'd like.
