Theres a list...I do like the yamaha line and would probably end up with a road liner or stratoliner, i was set on a triumph rocket III before i bought this one and if not for the price tag i do really like the Heritage softail classic screamin eagle of course! As long as your riding you really can go wrong...

Before I bought my R* I was planning on getting a Kaw 1600 Nomad. I got such a good deal on the R* I couldn't pass on it. I do think the R* is a better looking bike. Sometimes, when I think about getting SVS, I wonder if I made the right choice Don't get me wrong, I love my * , but the SVS is never far from my thoughts. Sometimes I just worry too much

Without a doubt, a Kawasaki Nomad. Took a demo ride on one at a rally a few years back and it's an awesome bike. It's the only other bike that made my "short list" when I decided on the Road Star.

Until getting the Road Star, I hadn't owned anything but Kawasakis and IMO, they are about as bullet-proof as it comes when talking about motorcycles.

I like the HD Ultra Classic and the Heratige Classic, the Goldwing and most anything on two wheels but after a lot of consideration it would probably be a Street Glide.

An original Indian Chief. Almost bought a Vulcan Drifter just because it reminded me so much of the Indian. But I saw the R* next to it and it was love at first ride.

I started road riding on a 53 Chief.
That's why this would be my choice for a bike other then a *.
