#102907 Liquid_Edge (User) No, its not a harley already... Senior Boarder Posts: 387 Engine Paint 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago   I am wondering if you guys all have this problem. Ever since my bike was new, I bought it in July 07, I have HATED the paint on the engine. Especially the further down you go. Brand new the paint was already cracked looking and very rough. On the sides of the engine toward the bottom of the bike behind the chrome, same thing. I wondered if they were all like this and why in the heck yamaha wouldnt have done a better job painting there. Seems they could have sanded the bumps out of it also. It looks like they just painted over rust. Oil sitting still and usually the rear exhaust pipe on the road. Can't mention any names though. Paint, I can live with easily.
