Cuping front tire 4 Months, 1 Week ago
I got 9500 Miles on R* I'm in process of getting new Rear tire but will probley need Front also It has plenty of tread but it is got weard cuping going on the tread which causes a wobble while riding.
what causes this cuping I have checked the front end it seem's to be tight could the forks need re-sealed I don't have any leaking going on, or is it just the nature of the beast.

Is it a Bridgestone?? Mine did that at 5k it was ruined, switched to Metz. Dont know what caused it but the metz has twice those miles and no sign of cupping.

I had a Bridgestone give up at 3500 miles. Most of the time, if the bearings are good, the cupping is caused by low air pressure.

Yamaha recommends low pressure for good traction with cheap tires and a softer ride.

Metzler recommends 42 in the front and 40 in the rear for the Roadstar.

MY OEM Bridgestones have held up great. I guess its like most things, some are good some are not coming out of the factory.

I had to lock my brakes up pretty good one time. Then I got a wobble that came from a cupped tire.I figured that soft rubber got cupped on the asphalt I tried to ride it out to where the tire got 'round again, but to no avail, had to buy a tire.

Re:Cuping front tire 4 Months, 1 Week ago
Most tire problems can be traced to the tires being under inflated. A bike tire doesn't have a lot of volume so it needs to be checked about every two weeks. (use air pressure gauge and not boot)
