dealer beware 4 Months ago
Ya know word of mouth can make or break a company. If your out to screw over the customer and don't care about what happens after the sale beware. My custom guy at Iron Thunder cycles that inspected my bike just picked up the Aprilla and Ducatti contract that My not so friendly Yamaha dealer just lost! Hah The cream always rises to the top!! If your in Raleigh NC, check them out. Great bunch of people!

Re:dealer beware 4 Months ago
while its important to alert/notify RSC members of poor Yamaha dealers, i think its also important to mention the good ones. Breyley Yamaha in north royalton ohio is the only dealer i will allow to touch my R*.their mechanics are just that, not parts changers.theyre honest &dont try to sell me things i dont need.i would like to propose to the board[?]of RSC an endorsement/award to Yamaha dealers that give good service .RSC members nominate/second the dealer & their name is posted for all members to review.as we travel across the country ,this could be helpful thoughts/cmments

Sounds good but I'll never use it. Too Jaded I guess. But there are good ones out there I know. The trick is find one and hold them close to your heart. IMO their few and far between. Can you blame me after all I've been through.

Raleigh N.C. I have friends form Ohio but they ride Kawaski's and HATE harleys. You don't even "go there" with them on that subject. Everyone has their prefrence when it comes to dealers. It's a matter of opinion and personal experiance. Glad you got a good one.

Ironman, I with you on that. If we got enough feedback on a dealer (or stealer, depending on how they are), it might just improve thier treatment of us.

It's amazing how a business owner responds to the words; "I read/heard ____ about your dealership online and that's why I am/am not shopping here." /

Ratl.

Law, I'm from Winston salem and I won't even consider going to the dealer here. Once they sell it it's like they could care less.

Re:dealer beware 4 Months ago
IMO it's like Yamaha trains these people to act like this,or they put the screws to the dealer so they don't have a chioce. The ones that step up for the customer are conscientious and seem to answer to a higher power than MA YAMAHA. "Evil flourishes when good men do nothing."
