I looked in the tank with a flash light (though a match would not be a good idea ) The tank looks like new money. I used BP gas and it's an 06 model. I think I'm going to drain it and the carb bowl if Yamaha stalls on my case any longer. Anyway, I just thought I'd point out that if you have documentation of your taking the bike in for the tank and carb to be cleaned out before the warranty expired and you are having the same continueing problem, you may have consideration under the lemon law of your state. Contact your local State Attorney Generals office and they'll be very helpful with information on your rights. I have found them to be a great source of information and motivation towards getting resolution. Hope it works out for you, nobody like to get hosed. Ratl.   Logged     Some days you\'re the bug. Bean Tickler, have you not riddin the bike since buying it for several months ? If not the dealer and Yamaha should make things right for ya. I know it could be hard to prove that you had riddin the bike consistantley and it had not been stored but I would stay after them. I'm like BB here no rust then rust in just 3- months ?? sounds fishy to me. I mean if you happen to call : 724-430-1970 and leave a message that you won't buy anything from them either, well they tend to get the message if 100 people call. Get my drift?
