Handlebar Riser Nuts? 4 Months ago
I had installed a set of dragbars on my 05 Roadstar Silverado. I decided yesterday to take them off and put the stock handlebars back on. The problem I have is the nuts that go onto the riser bolts on the bottom side have been misplaced. I have figured out that it will take a 12mm nut. I guess my question is, does the nut have a "special" look to it or is it just a plain ol' nut like you would get at a hardware store?

Also I had installed a new set of mirrors on the bike with the drag bars. I am going to go back to the stock mirrors. The right side mirror seems to not want to screw into the hole. I guess it must have been cross threaded when I installed the other mirrors. I know you can rethread it out again, but does anyone have any suggestion on the correct size tool to use. I am not very familiar with things like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Michael

The factory riser nuts are ACORN type. Since they are hard to see anyway regular nylon lock nuts will be fine.

Yahamas right hand mirror has a LEFT HAND THREAD.
