All the innards have to be removed so make sure the area around the bike is clean so that you can see the small pieces when they drop out. Take pics or draw the connections ..... it's easy to forget where everything connects. Mine didn't clam up prefectly like stock, so there is a slight space on the bottom between the two sides.
