Looking to get some feedback on the best way to get scratches out of the paint on my Roadie! They seem to be only in the Clear coat, but deep in! Not "very" noticible unless your really looking, but I know they are there!!!! The paint looks fine, but I have what appears to be a small hole in the clear coat. Will these products also fix that problem? I don't want to make the problem worse. You can use a toothpick to fill the chip with clearcoat .. dip the toothpick in the clearcoat and place a drop onto the chipped area until you have filled it slighty higher than the surrounding paint. Usually the above products are not agressive enough to remove the excess so you need a different tack. I usually use a small block with 1800 or 2400 wet and dry to remove the excess and then use the above compounds to buff it up.
